We went to the night clubs tonight after 10PM, there was no parking so we went to the back to look for parking, there was a couple of parking spots in the Caltex on the corner of Durban Road and Oakdale Road open, an attendant there said we could park there so we did.
When I got out my car he said that I must give him R10 for parking there, he was persistent and it ended with a bit of an argument. There was also a car guard there, but he was not the one who came up to us demanding for money, I'm almost certain it was the petrol attendant.
I felt I should bring to your attention how your petrol attendants are trying to make underhanded money in such a manner from their little parking space business which they don't even own, it belongs to Caltex, and if Caltex have a parking space business going on then there should at least be a board there stating R10 for parking, else how do I know the petrol attendants don't just pocket the money.
