Kew, Jhb is affected by the unauthorised strike that is taking place by the City Power employees. I am disgusted that City Power has not dispatched casual staff or temp staff to resort the electricity in Kew. We have been living in darkness for 3 days. I am disappointed in the lack of interest and care that is being displayed by City Power management.
I called the City Power call centre and was informed that the private technician who were hired while the illegal strike takes place will attend to minor queries.
I was shocked to hear that the private technicians (as reported on the news) will not resort the power in Kew because they were not contracted to attend to this issue.
I want my power to be resorted immediately.
