I took my child for vaccination and it so happened that it was windy and cold outside in the que. The security guard showed me to a room where I could sit and wait for vaccination and it so happened that this is the very same room that khanyisile Mbambo consults her elderly diabetic Patience in. As I sat there and waited I listened to her as she consulted. She addressed her patience with so much respect and love. Yet she kept complaining about how tired she was but when her next patient worked through that door all that tiredness fell away and she used what ever energy was left in her to focus on that patient so that they could feel comfortable talking to her. Now I call that true passion, dedication and commitment. If she had to do something or go somewhere during a consult, she would apologise and excuse herself, a true professional indeed. This woman needs to be recognised for the good work she does for the elderly and the less educated. You do not get this kind of good service unless you paying big bucks for it. Its a huge step up for the government health department and should be appreciated and encouraged among all public medical personnel.
