Licensing Department
UK to SA Drivers License Conversion

First, I went to marlboro to exchange my license on a Thursday. After 2.5 hours, was informed that you can't convert a license on a Thursday. Returned the Monday, to be told that I can't exchange it at Marlboro - I'd have to go to Brits as I live in Northwest Province. Got hold of eNatis, who instructed Mpostoli Msiza to sort his staff out at Marlboro. 2 days later, he calls me telling me to go back to Marlboro, which I did and paperwork was approved and my "evaluation" driving assessment was booked. Attending my appointment, the Lady Maria had booked myself and another gent at the same time - and she had also booked leave. I got handed over to Orphan, Examiner no. N951154 who proceeded to put me through a K53 test, despite all documentation, laws and information from eNatis saying that I can convert my license, not have to redo it. Maria confirmed at the time of booking that it was just a test to see if I can drive a car. Despite doing all the obstacles, I failed my yard test because I didn't do enough checks or indications. Irony is I originally got my license at Marlboro 20 years ago, before I left the country and returned. The rest of the world, you convert your license 2 weeks
