What a pleasant surprise :)

We recently moved homes & of course had to disconnect & reconnect municipals accounts. Well I thought Eskom and JHB Water would be a pleasure & dreaded facing Ekurhuleni Metro but how wrong I was!! Eskom & JHB Water have been a total nightmare but Ekurhuleni was one of best customer service experiences I've EVER had! My husband was really sick at the time & had to wait in the car parking lot whilst I went in to pay deposits etc. Worried about my husband, I managed to leave vital paperwork at our previous home 40 km away!! The person assisting me, Ivan saw I was distressed & proceeded to go out of his way to assist me in getting not only all our connections done (based on me producing the vital paperwork, he did everything above board) but he also contacted the guy who connects the electricity to connect it asap due to my husband being ill. I couldn't believe how much Ivan went out of his way to help me. Paying our deposit was also an absolute pleasure as the cashier was so friendly (i'm sorry I never got her name nor the guy who did indeed make sure our electricity was connected)... Ivan and the rest of the Ekhurhuleni team on the Ground Floor, well done & thank you!!
