We got our first Ekhurleni bill for the month and I am totally shocked at what the electricity bill amount came to.
On a daily basis we switch off our geyser in the evening and during the day, when not in use.
We make sure all unnecessary lights are not on.
We got a ridiculous bill of R2, 449.49.
The previous place we stayed at, our electricity did not come to more than R800.00 for the month.
One of the guys from Ekurhuleni came to take our meter reading on the weekend and said that the meter is moving faster than usual and will get the municipality to credit.
I have tried call the Call Centre but cannot get through or I get to the wrong department.
I would appreciate it if I could get some assistance in this matter.
