Dept of labour takes our cases and there's no resp

I left the company I was working for in Octobe last year and the employer refuse to pay my salary and I open up a case to dept of labour, and the ex employer aggreed he will pay my salary to the innspector but even now I am still waiting for my payment and it the 7th month waiting. And lack of communication and advisory for the next step to take it very poor.

I would like to find out. How long does the process take cause the employer signed that he will pay.

Please assist tired of waiting in the dark.
