Five years and still waiting

I lodged a complaint at department of labour against my old company five years ago. basically an open and shut case. the companies lawyer admitted fault for certain elements of the case. the case was handed over to the law department to handle. on numerouse occasions i have phoned only to find out there is no progress in the case. i have never received a phone call from the department advising me on what is happening. i have not called them for at least a year now. it seems there is a complete lack of interest in doing the job. i cannot understand how there can be nothing to report after five years
