We completed all the forms as well as submitted our request for a company registration about 5 weeks ago. The request was processed timeously however they spelt the company name wrong. Intended HATFIELD was spelt HATFILED. When asked to correct it they said it will take another 4 to 6 weeks which does not work according to our planning. We stand to lose a lot of money if this is the case. When we tried to log the right company name on a new request we were told that it cannot be done as the names are too close to each other.
When I try to phone Thomas I get to an answering machine that says he is not registered on the voice mail system and therefore I cannot leave a message.
When I called the general helpdesk I first hold on for about 20 minutes after which I was given the name of the manager to escalate to (Machete Merongwa). When I call her, I get the same message as for Thomas.
How on earth does anything get done effectively with this chaos in our government organisations.
