Bad Service Delivery in Ruyterwacht

Since I started living there (for 20 years), we very frequently experience issues with the unavailability of electricity/water (most of the time without any notice). We also experience problems with potholes that takes ages to repair (and many times not at all).

I have no problems if we are noted in advance that the water/electricity will be switched off due to necessary maintenance work. However, the issue with the water/electricity being switched off also happens at the worst of times (example Monday mornings when getting ready for work). Also, when potholes are eventually 'repaired', it just seems to get patched up and it seems whoever is doing this work is just doing a rush job, as these potholes again appear not too long afterwards in the same spots (which is pathetic).

I, as a tax payer (paying more than R5000 tax a month) find these issues totally unacceptable. There seems to be nothing to improve these conditions or no measures in place to prevent or fix these problems. It seems Ruyterwacht as a suburb is not important enough.

I want these issues addressed ASAP, as I feel that the service delivery is far below my expectations, considering how much tax I pay.
