I've written a report on the Gautrain website as well, but am not happy with the feedback. I need to know the logic behind charging R100 parking fee if you are a non-rail user and parked for longer than 15 minutes. My daughter took me to the Hatfield station and parked there, just to show me how everything works .( It's easy enough, I know it now) We struggled to find parking and eventually found one on the 5 th level. Then there was a queue at the single paypoint, which took another 5 minutes. When we came in front the lady said that she has now been parked for 16 minutes and the cost is R100! I find that totally unacceptable as the reason why it took us so long was that number one we couldn't find parking and number two, the queue was long. This is.
