I parked my car overnight at the Sandton Gautrain parking lot. Upon my return, it took 45 minutes and 3 trips to the parking lot and back to the service counter to pay for parking! First there was an erroneous reading at the Exit point. Then I had reload more money due to the fact that I had not travelled on the Gautrain on the way back from the airport. After reloading the required amount on the Gautrain gold card (as I was instructed to), I was told that the parking ticket's magnetic strip was damaged and that I would now have to pay cash as they could not take payment from the Gautrain card. The cherry on top was that I was overcharged for parking by R50!!!
I think that the service is shocking and the attitude of the cashier and the manager was appalling!
