I obtained a smartcard last month on the 20th of June 2013, and activated it the following day with R200. i taged my card at a station in Chancellor house West. after boarding the bus to Dobsinville, i noticed when we got to my destination that the system on the bus is not working. i immediatly called the call centre and was told i should have taken down the buses' number for me to be refunded. on the 4th when i checked my balance, i found it to be R179 when i boarded another bus to Dobsinvill. upon reaching my destination i found the system on the bus rejecting my card again. everytime you dont' tag out, you get penalized an undisclosed amount of cash, my question is why would they immplement a faulty sytem that was not properly planned? i am now resorting to taxis, since i can not stand to be reaped off by lazy goverment officails who needs to go for proper project management courses.
