It is virtually impossible to get assistance!
I am an unemployed, windowed, single mom so resources such as transportation;telephones&internet are not often in my reach.I have however taken all avenue, followed all procedures, &have been as patience as one could possibly be .....however after my thousands of phone calls, &visits to the Braamfontein offices - still no response . Firstly the account is in the name of my deceased husband, secondly the address on my last statement reflects an incorrect address - most importantl, there are no notes on your system made by the staff that I have been incontact with / no investigation logged / and no request for clearance figures!!! In 2008 I requested a level 3 cut off, I have been in constant communication with the municipality and have received accounts - but for some reason no, my records are missing (' excuse' - change over onto new system ) .I have been struggling to sell my house which I cant afford to stay in, and has been vandilized over and over again due to municipality ignoring my requests to turn Elec back on.Finally found a buyer ..registration has been delayed since Nov 2012 awaiting clearance from municip.Visited Louren 3 months ago
