City of Tshwane Municipality
Incorrect billing

I acquired property in April 2011 and requested Tshwane Municipality to send rates & taxes accounts and they failed to do so. My husband received an email from Debt collectors requesting that we settle an account of R6800.
Its unfair that the Municipality would go the legal route whereas we tried in numerous occasions (we have email communication) to get a statement of account from them.

I request that I shouldnt pay any interest on the account as we never received a statement of account from Tshwane municipality.
My good name will be tarnished because the municipality failed to do the right thing
