Department of Labour
UIF Claim not being granted for over a year

I put a claim in for UIF payout last year March, they did not pay out and accused me of lying about being unemployed, so they put an order of investigation through to my previous employer, Unisa. They (Unisa) sent back a report and prove that I was indeed unemployed. EVENTUALLY in May 2012 . They told me that I had to wait until they process my request. My request was only approved in January 2013 when they contacted me after I had to contact them numerous times without any legitimate response. I was told by Mrs. Hariette that the payout would take approximately 2weeks. That was in January. It is now 5 months later, and NO payout or answers. I am currently still unemployed and my UIF claim is much needed. I am in contact with the UIF Claims office daily, with NO help or response. It is like they just don't care or want to help. They keep telling me that the responsible persons are on leave, seems like they are more on leave than actually at work. Getting paid for doing nothing. I'm starting think that I am being victimized. Don't know what to do anymore...
