Evergreen payout made v frustrating

I resigned from my last employer at the end of January, the pension fund withdrawal forms were submitted to Old Mutual at around 24th January 2012.

The first notification I received from Old Mutual (ref 561351/554090) on 27 February 2013, I immediately phoned and got confirmation that the payout will be made in 10 working days (which would make the payout date (13 March 2013).

In the last 2 days I have been dealing with Grace Tshela, as much as she was helpful and willing to help with advice - I got the feeling that I was being pressured to keep my funds with Old Mutual (understandable noting that she is with the Conservation team).

Above the coercion, I am frustrated that Grace advised me that I will have to wait another 10 days for the payout to be processed (making the payout due on 21 March). I am irritated that 7 days later (after I have confirmed that I am withdrawing the amount)... only now this process begins.

I submitted the withdrawal forms in January (to my former employer) and confirmed with Old Mutual on 27th February, only today there seems to be an indication that the process will begin.

This attitude and delayed approach is disappointing!!
