Metro Police
Fine issued without any default

I was driving on 13th and 14th road in Midrand, I approached a stop street at which i had stopped and when clear turned left. The police were parked on the side, clearly visible. As I turned left the officer pulled me over. I stopped and handed over my license to him. He asked me if i had a few minutes to spare, I told him I am in a hurry. he asked me where i was going. I said that I am going to the hospital as I need to buy some medication as I have the flu and I am pregnant and I have just spoken to my gynae. The officer looked at me and said pregnancy is not a medical condition and i am going to give you a fine. So i asked why, he said you didnt stop at the stop street. i said i did, how can you give me a fine when i stopped at the stop street. He said we under pressure and I need to make my stats. You dont have to pay this fine if you dont want to, you can go to court. I need to make my stats. I told the officer so you are just writing me a fine even though i did nothing wrong. He said mam, you can go to court and contest it. The officer wrote the fine out and I refused to sign it and i said i did nothing wrong. The officer just said you make me laugh and walked away
