My parents received an account this month that was more than double to what they usually pay, it jumped from R622.00 to R1411.00. When we went to enquire about it we didn't receive any explanation to why it went up so radically. In fact I think the training the people receive to work with people is terrible, because the people working there is very rude to customers. They have no skills in working with people! I feel very upset at the moment because my parents are pensioners and don"t know how they are going to pay this bill. This type of service gives Ekhuruleni municipality a bad reputation! It is like they know there is only one place to get your water from and so they don't need to explain anything and they don't have to be nice to customers.
