Department of Education
Matric Exam Marking Done Incorrectly

I wrote my Matric Exams in 2012. I then received my results in 2013 and received low marks for Maths and Science. I re-wrote the supplementary examinations in Feb/March and received the exact same result for Maths and my Science mark dropped by 1%.. I then logged a complaint with the dept. as this is quite impossible as I worked almost 100 times harder. I was given a hotline number to call and did so, where i was given yet another number which then gave me another number to call where i was then finally forwarded to Sabastian who advised that I need to go to the department offices to apply for a remark at the charge of R80 per paper. I think it is ridiculous to have to pay for something that should have been done correctly the 1ST time. This type of service makes one wonder why these people joined the teaching profession as their focus is obviously not on the kids. I am now employed where i could face dismissal as i do not have a valid matric result! the dept. is messing with my life and my time as my life is now on hold! something needs to be done about this so i can move on with my life. Some Please Help!!
