My Sister wrote her Matric in 2012 and failed Maths and Science with very low marks. She re wrote the exams and still received low marks. We firmly donot beleive that the marks alocated are correct. Upon contacting the department for a review of the papers, they informed us that we have to first apply for a remark before we can apply for a review.BY THEM WANTING A REMARK BEFORE ALLOWING US TO REVIEW THE PAPERS TELLS ME THAT THEY ARE UNSURE OF THE WAY THEY MARKED THE PAPERS IN THE FIRST PLACE.
They are also charging students R80 per remark which they are requesting, so a remark of 4 exam papers is R360 and after the remark another R80 per paper for the review.
