I shop at Oxford every day and spend about R4,000 per week. Every time I am shopping there, you can never find a frontline supervisor to assist cashiers. I have raised this with the managers consistently, but finding them is also like looking for the Holy Grail. The service areas are fully staffed, but you have to make a scene to get anyone to serve you.
Their promotions do not have shelf-talkers, and the product price label is still at the old price. When I queried this with the manager, I was told that they don't need shelf-talkers or to adjust their prices as it reflects at the till. When I asked how I would know if it is on special, I was told to take a pamphlet or check my social media. Nice new introduction to retail to inform your customer! I would rather shop at Checkers or Spar, where I know what is on special, and I am not delayed at the till because Oxford doesn't care.
