I have been a subscriber to Die Burger for over 16 years and regard it as the best newspaper. Over these years I have had the odd problem with a paper not being delivered. My serious problems started in Dec 2012 when the paper wasn't delivered for days. This has been happening on and off, with an incident where I received only 2 papers in one week. Phoning the call centre has become my daily nightmare - repeating the same story every day, verifying my details etc and getting the same standard apology. I don't take them up on the offer to send out a newspaper later in the day, because I never receive these "late delivery" papers, which means that I have to phone the next day to report that I didn't receive that paper either. I have asked for feedback on the matter, but needless to say, I haven't received a call back!! My request to speak to a manager couldn't be granted as all the lines were engaged. I'm not asking for much - just my daily newspaper that I have, by the way, paid for!!!
