Dear sir/madam
I have been a subscriber since 2010.
In the first year I did not receive many sunday times newspapers. In the first six months I did not receive the times paper. I called in to find out why and got no satisfactory answer and was told that my account had been credited with newspapers for the sunday times that I had not received. I was told that the times was free and that receiving it was not madatory. Furthermore when the delivery guy delivered the paper after IO complained to the call centre, he hooted loudly at 5 am. I was tempted to throw a brick at his bakkie. I subscribe for convenience.
Every year I do not receive at least 6 papers. In december this year I did not receive 1 paper - these were days in which papers were sold in shops. There were various other days in which I did not receive a paper. and I always call. But my account does not get credited. If I did not get 8 papers each year and no one credited my account that amounts to 24 papers - so in effect I have lost half a years subscription in three years worth 500 rands.
In conclusion, i see no value if I get a quarter of what I pay for each year. I wont renew unless I get 24 credits or more.
