On the 1st of August I discovered that I had a debit of R47.87 from Media 24. I contacted Media 24 on the 5th August on a land line number on 011 -2173210, the unhelpful receptionist did not have a number to refer me to, I eventually found the subscriptions contact number on a magazine. I spoke to a lady by the name of Charlene Titus, I explained to her that I had been debited with R47.87 and asked her to check what that is for as I paid my once off subscription fee when I subscribed for City Press and True love, she advised that I should not be having any money deducted as she can't see anything in that regard on her system, she advised that I send her my bank statement and she will look into it. I sent her an email with the bank statement attached as per her request. This was all done on the 5th August, in my email I also explained to her about the True Love subscription that was not honoured by Media 24, as they only sent me 3 True love issues. To date I have had no response from Charlene instead I have again had R47.87 debited from my account in September. the ref number reflecting om my statement for the debit order is 410000322758.
