This company got our details at an expo and didn't not clearly inform us that they would be sending us books that we would need to pay for. We suddenly got lumped with a batch of books and shocking with a letter demanding payment. there are several things linked to the way this company operates that smells rotten including:
1. You don't just send people things and then request payment! is this even allowed according to the CPA?
2. Secondly your letter stated that payment was expected if the books were not returned with 21 days or so. I received the package 2 days before this expired.
3. In addition the letter says to post the books back if they are not wanted with the stamps provided! THERE WERE NO STAMPS!
4. Having called the call centre and spoken to 2 other people who didn't really know what to do, the supervisor or senior Gauranteed they would send us stamps to return the books, they would cancel our account and clear the issue up!!!
5. We received 3 letters saying 'please find return stamps enclosed'. None of them had any stamps.
6. We then received another letter demanding payment.
BOO JACKLIN! What kind of business is this? Please can this be resolved urgently!!!
