To whom it concerns
I'm displeased and angry with Cash Crusaders Newcastle because they are liars - never keep to their promises and lack communication skills with clients - can't even give updates on open cases.
I bought a phone for my wife (Lungile - name on their system) on the 26th of November 2021. Firstly, the sales person, James Jayden gave us incorrect price on the phone which persuaded us to buy the phone but when we go to the till I had to pay +/- R600 more to the price I was given by the sales person. I wasn't happy but I paid because my wife liked the phone.
Around 15-20th December 2021, I decided to return back the device, after 2-3 weeks of experiencing difficulties with the device (taking upside down photo/video, overheating and failing to start when being restarted - screen just flash).
The manager informed me that the device need to be taken for check up because the screen protector had an unnotable line/crack which I would have also not notice when I purchased the phone. Nevertheless, I agreed that they can take the phone for checkup.
- the manager said we must leave the phone but it will only be couriered for checkup in January, 06, 2022 and will be back on the 18th of January 2022 and they will call me for updates.
20th of January 2022, I visited the store because they never called as promised and only to find the phone is not back and I was told they don't know when the phone will be back (they didn't even want to check with the manufacturer).
TILL TO DATE... NO UPDATE!! MY WIFE DON'T HAVE A PHONE!!!
I trust this will be resolved or I'm taking it further to ombudsman.
