Our letting agent contacted GR Roofing, under instruction from us, on 25th of March to give us a quote to repair a leaking roof in the garage due to heavy rains. The agents already had a contractor lined up to do the job, but we wanted GR to do the work since they are reputable contractors. Since then, between the letting agents and ourselves, we have made numerous phone calls and sent numerous emails to acquire the quote in order for us to get the job done. We spoke to Gavin who kept promising that we would receive the quote immediately. Last week he promised we would have it by Thursday night. On Friday morning we sent another email to them explaining the urgency of the situation again, but still nothing. Another roofing contractor in PE declined the work as he said he was too busy and could not take on any more work. If this is the case with GR then why not do the same? Why keep on promising something you cannot deliver? When my husband called their office this morning they slammed the phone down in his ear! What kind of service is this?
