I had documents mailed to me from Margate. I confirmed with Simon's Town that the documents had arrived and I could collect them. I went to the post office and had to sign the receipt book. Once this was done, I was told to pay Tax of R26.18. They blamed Margate for not getting enough money for the postage. I did not have my wallet with me and was turned away. Awesome. I have signed for the documents and have to leave. Only once I returned with the R26.18 was I allowed to take the documents. I want to know why the post office does not know how much to charge for postage and why do I have to sign for something that you are not going to give me. I called the customer care at 0860111502 and during the conversation the operator cut me off. How incompetent is the post office
