Eskom Issue Pending Since 2010

Hi Peter,

Johanna Mukhari a sister of mine has logged a call with Eskom to reconnect her electricity supply after the meter box had been tempered with in 2009 by her tenants.

She was fined R720 at the time and she paid it; but has been since waiting for them to come back to her or to come and reconnect her. I have made several calls to their contact center and I have been given the following reference numbers since my last two weeks of being in contact with them (1) 92773668) was told her call was logged incorrectly and a new log was made (2) 92388052 I called again this morning to follow up and was told that the issue was closed and was given a new reference number "again" 93326871 and spoke to a lady called Yolisa

What I fail to understand is that how is an issue closed when the matter is not resolved. We have never had the Eskom guys come in to fix the issue. And every time I call I am being told that the matter has been escalated to the contractor and that the supervisor of the Eskom contact centre will get back to me and letting me know the outcome of this issue. I have since been waiting
