POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I applied online to become an Avon representative on the 29/03/2013.

When no one contacted me after a week had passed, I called the Avon Office and was told that someone (A Rep in my area) would contact me on Monday 08/04/2013.

Today is 18/04/2013 and to date no one from Avon has called me!

I called the head office again this afternoon and put forward my complaint and one of the Consultants gave me the details of a Rep "supposedly" in my area. I called the so called rep in my area and she said she was NOT in my area but in fact handled the Namibia division of Avon but that she would get someone to contact me.

Based on the above experience of lack of communication from Avon I decided not to wait for her to get someone to call me, but to call the Avon Head Office once again to ask for a Rep in my area.

I was told by consultant Khanyi that I should call back in 20 minutes as they were experiencing technical difficulties and she could not help me what she couldve done is offered to call me back instead of telling me to call back.

So all in all Avon advertises on tv, newspapers, etc that they are looking for Reps but fail to deliver on their promises.
