I was an Avon seller and I received a product box from Avon in February 2013 of which I didn't make the order. My sister accepted the box on my behalf with no idea that I did not make the order. We did not open the box and contacted Avon to return it, they then requested I contact my Rep and at the time I did not know who she was. They gave me her details (Poppie) and I contacted her.By March she had the box and all was well, December last year I got a letter of demand from Avon requesting I pay a bill of R 306.57 and that is when I realised the the rep I was asked to go via actually sold the items and did not pay Avon. I contacted her and she promised to pay me, I have called her during this time to get her to pay but she still hasn't done that. She does not answer my calls nor return my messages.
I do not understand why Avon puts such a person in her position to handle such. She was dishonest and I had to pay for the products I never order and which I did not use either. I know Avon is very quick to blacklist a person and I did not want to take that risk. And what is worse is that this poppie (Avon rep) doesn't intend on paying me back.
