I relocated from JHB and for the last 3 years I have been renting a unit from the Midrand branch of rentastore. the service I have found to be extremely at their convenience. it was made quite clear at every single time i dealt with them that the customer did not matter. One such incident is I received a call saying that the roof has blown off of my unit due to a storm and that I must come and move my stuff into a new unit immediately. obviously living outside the country this was a impossible thing to do. they also made it very clear that it was my bad luck and that they are not responsible for anything other than taking my money. a second incident all my storage boxes were destroyed by harvester termites. insects and pests obviously not being taken care of by rentastore. the staff attitude and communication does not give you any feeling of security or trust. gaining access to the unit is painful and tedious. without fail resulting in numerous trips to and from the office to the unit. every request is made complicated. I would not recommend them to anyone for short or long term storage.
