Moving is stressful enough, and then I had to deal with the below sub-standard service and out right by the moving company. A terrible, horrendous service. I was under the impression that the company (which looks reputable) was going to be doing the move. Yet, I was given a sub-contractor. The person arrived at my place with people he picked up from the street. They smelled horribly, and my belongings where grease marked, and smelling like them. Had I wanted to move like that - I would not have paid you R7000. Owing to the condition of the staff and the truck - I had to move my electronic stuff myself. I now have to wash down, and wipe all my items. I was charged for a shuttle and none was provided - and i was not refunded. I was charged for a shuttle - and none was provided. My storage items were taken to a different place from what was agreed. I had to pay again for the re-delivery to a unit in midrand. I had to get a rent-a-store unit, and I was still charged by the moving company for a months storage. The storage unit (that Purple turtle maintains) was the sub-contractors house! I have received feedback on insurance claims only after repeat emails on 26 July 2013
