I have left South Africa in May 2011 to work in the US and have requested that my account be terminated. I called the customer services department and was told that I need to get a police affidavit stating that i do not have my TV anymore. I've informed them that I no longer reside there and would need for them to email this to me. I have not received anything. I call again and the same thing. Now I receive an email from Frank on a Final Notice. Are these people just dumb or acting stupid? Either one, now i understand why people DONT pay their TV Licence. The SABC is a JOKE and the people working for them should get an education so they can comprehend simple english. I NO LONGER RESIDE IN SOUTH AFRICA AND NEED TO TERMINATE MY TV LICENSE.
