Misssing Parcels

I bought an item in Uk in Nov 2011, I was informed by the post office the item is lost. Tracking number: RI 263 429 335 za. The item was registered and had insurance, it showed it reached the post office. I was made to complete an enquiry form and provide all necessary documentation Dec. To date I was advised the head Office never responded to the query of refunding me they however disciplined the official that received the parcel. I am not interested in their internal disciplinary procedures but I want to be refunded. The other interesting thing is that your employees our parcels and when we get refunded shipping fees are not paid whilst you have not received the item at all. These monthly strikes are also not helping the situation, even now we have parcels that are either stuck at Witpost because of the strikes and the next thing you gonna be told the parcel never reached the office. I dont really know what the post office is doing about these employees because the only way you can get your parcel or get comfort is to insure it, if you send parcel from overseas it will be definitely lost because you cant even have proof, it is ridiculous to be keeping as employees.
