On Sunday the 10/03/2013 at Makro in Springfield Park, I stopped by the promoter of the Genesis Hydrovac to ask a few questions and was immediately approached by the promoter of the Bennet-Read vacuum which was being promoted in the same area.
He continued to talk over me and the Genesis promoter, insisting in a rude and loud manner that I come view his vacuum demo. I agreed to this in order to get him to leave me alone but he remained to listen to my conversation with the Genesis promoter and continued to interrupt my conversation.
When I viewed the demo of the Bennet-Read vacuum, I noted that the promoter spoke non-stop and had the Tevo rep acting as a "back-up singer" to echo his words and answer his "questions to the audience". I found this to be incredibly distracting. When I asked questions about the machine I was simply ignored and the "demo" went on.
After the demo I returned to the Genesis promoter and was mortified to hear the Bennet-Read promoter shout across the store "I'll be waiting for you young lady"
Even if I was interested in the Bennet-Read vacuum, the attitude of the promoter has put me off for a life time. This promoter is a disaster waiting to happen.
