I find the after care service from GHD SA Unacceptable. My GHD is out of warranty and as faith would have it, it is now starting to give problems. So I contacted the customer care centre to find out where I can send it for repairs only to my horror they tell me that the only repair centre is in Durban. Now I live in JHB, so now after spending R2000 on a straightener I have to 1. pay to get it fixed (which I don't have a problem with) and 2. I have to pay to courier it all the way to Durban and all the way back to JHB. NO THANKS! I'd rather just chuck it in the bin and buy a new iron. I can however assure you that my new iron will NOT be GHD. For such a big company your service/ customer care is shocking!!
