Dont waste your time buying from Whirlpool

My washing machine was purchased in January 2013 at Makro Woodmead and is advertised with a 2 year guarantee. It is now faulty.

In the last - 3 weeks I have logged about 5 calls for repair under warranty, first through the sales agents (Makro), then to your customer care centre directly. Most recent call reference numbers are S000323993 & S000324705. Each time I was told a repair agent will contact me within 2-3 or so days.

To date not a single repairs person has even contacted me. Last time contacting your customer care centre I was informed the repair agent's vehicle has broken down.

Surely a company like Whirlpool has more than 1 repair agent and more than 1 vehicle for the entire country? Maybe if his vehicle has been out of service for a month, it is time to get him a new vehicle? Why do you bother offering your customers a 2 year warranty if you have no intention of repairing anything?

I will most certainly not be recommending your products to anybody
