Affirmative Portfolios
Unsolicited telephone calls

Towards the end of 2012, I received a call from Affirmative Portfolios (AP) confirming my application for employment. They claim I registered with their agency at Tygerberg Hospital (TH) and being a nursing agency, would be able to find a position for me at TH. This was the first that I had heard of this company and when I told them this, the caller blithely said that my friend who works at Tygerberg Hospital had given my details, despite my never having been aquainted with anyone who works at TH. I asked them to remove my details from their database but the phone calls and SMS's have persisted, at times on a weekly basis and despite confirmation that they had taken me off their records. I have spoken to Lisa on 21/1/13 at 13h40, Joy on 28/1/13 at 15h05 and on Friday at 08h15, to Bradley. Believe it or not, on Friday at 15h23, I received an SMS from AP starting with "Good day Nurse Ryneveld", and this after each caller from AP had known my full name. Please assist in dealing with this company as I am now at my wit's end and am facing my manager's growing impatience with me regarding the disruptions these calls are causing in the office.
