I started getting sms's from Vericredt collections agency early last year for a Hosptial account that was not paid. I called vericredit and confirmed that this was not my account, as I have never been in any hosptal in Cape Town, I live in Pretoria. I called Tygerberg Hospital and spoke to the account dept there, who said the person has the same date of birth as mine and the same surname. It appeared they got my info from the tracing facilities using my date of birth. They now have my ID number, cell number, work and home numbers with this person's address in Cape Town. On 21 Feb 2012 my husband sent an email to the hospital as well as Vericredit with all the information he received from the Hospital asking them to update their records, Tygerberg came back and said this would be done and apologised for the inconvenience, 11 April 2012 I recieved yet another sms demanding payment, I sent an email with no responce. 31 October 2013 I received another sms demanding payment for now Three accounts the latest being May 2013. This is ridiculous it has a negative impact on my credit portfolio for almost two years now, i should be compensated and they need to fix their mistake. I am
