Going out for a upmarket, fancy night out, we decided to do the responsible thing and book a cab. Are party consisted of 5 adults, a detail that was stipulated in the discussions with Safecab. To start the cab driver called to say he was running 10 min late, this turned into 30 min late as he also got lost. We had booked this cab for a set function for a specific time, being late is disrespectful to all involved. The car that arrived could not possibly fit 5 adults (Renault Sandero), this left us with no choice, but to call our friends and tell them they have to take their own car (Defeating the point of using a cab). The driver didn't even apologize. After arriving at our venue we called to ask them to amend the situation and were told that we were given a good deal. I find this hard to understand as we did not get the service that was requested. They then sent two cars to drive us home, meaning we had to now leave a car over night, paying for parking.
The cars themselves don't carry the Safecab branding and are not exactly the best in quality. In our car the seat belts at the back didn't work. The second car drove home from Sandon to Clearwater via the dome.
