I received a Foreign Parcel Collection Notification from the SA Post Office.
I am required to fax them the invoice for the item before they release it.
I have the invoice and am happy to do this - even though the value of the item is only approximately R100.
The fax number they provided 021-534-5917, either rings off or appears to be engaged. I have tried over thirty times through out the day.
The help numbers they provided 021-590-5712/3/5/6 are always engaged. I have tried about 10 times.
I have also tried the overseas parcels number 0860 111 502, that picks up with an automated queue (with a recorded voice from the NP days) however although the voice keeps telling me that my call is important I have waited many tens of minutes and my call has not been answered.
Your service is phenomenally bad and unprofessional. And your system is akin to a that of a banana republic!!!
