I ordered a parcel that was sent through DHL to the South African Post Office. The parcel arrived from DHL in 2 days, however it arrived at the WITPOS (HUB) on 14/02/2013 and has not moved.
The multiple times I called I got different answers:
You just have to wait
I don't know where it is
Our staff are not on strike
Our staff are on strike
and the one that takes the cake - You just have to wait three months and then report it missing because I cant find it.
I think it is appalling that our postal service is in this condition, parcels being lost (is probably a better description), delivered to the wrong places, delivered late and horrific customer service.
A lot of people including me rely on these packages, I cannot afford to replace this parcel and not having it means I could lose my job which is causing me distress.
How do I go about resolving this problem when the service staff are so rude and unhelpful?
