On Friday I went to fetch a package from Brackenfell Post Office containing a Leatherman Surge that I bought from the US. Upon opening the package I noticed that the one side of the box was taped with special Post Office tape saying that the package was damaged.
After opening it I found the Leatherman box inside with the Leatherman sheath in it but in place of the Leatherman Surge was a cheap and nasty Cape Union multi tool.
I emailed the supplier who confirmed that everything was checked on their side.
On Saturday I went to the Brackenfell Post Office with all my paperwork and was told that the Postmaster would contact me during Monday.
I eventually went back to the Brackenfell Post Office this afternoon just to get told by the Postmaster that nothing would come of a complaint like this.
The biggest joke of course is the big poster asking you to report any criminal behavior to make it a CRIME FREE ZONE!
