SA Post Office
OVERCHARGED AND STILL WAITING

The South African Post Office is an absolute disgrace! There is literally nothing redeming about this useless organisation, and as far as I am concerned we'd be better off going back to carrier pigeons.

I recieved a notice for a package from the USA more than three weeks ago. Its contents? A gift for my girlfriend from her mother. Its value? No more than R2500. The DUTY? R1700! (bunch of!).

Anyway, upon enquiry, I discovered I could return it to the Johannesburg mail centre for reassement c/o a Mr Graeme Bald. I went to the Bryanston post office, and requested that it be sent back for reassessment. TWO WEEKS LATER I AM STILL WAITING.

And of course I have tried to call and the phones just ring and ring and ring...
