Bad Service Good enough for the SA postal services

You would think with the postal industry taking a bit of a knock with stuff going digital that they would at least make an effort to improve their service deliver. I've now had 3 parcels mysteriously disappear, not only have I been on hold for the last 20min trying to talk to somebody about it, but tracking numbers merely relay a message stating that the tracking information for your parcel is unavailable?

Wouldn't this have you look at your employees/partners and make you consider that you need to somehow sort this problem out? Is there some postal service employee cashing in on the interesting looking parcels? Really disappointing never mind embarrassing when the parcels in question is sent from abroad where they don't seem to have this problem!
