INTERNATIONAL EMS PARCEL STUCK FOR DAYS!!!

On the 30th of January I sent an URGENT parcel to Australia using EMS. I paid R323.00, and was insured it will arrive within 3 to 5 days maximum.

The recipient of this parcel is leaving on holiday on the 7th, and nobody will be able to collect it.

I called the Call center various times, being told it is in JHB but they can not track it, and then again that it is still in East Londen. I called the East Londen branch and a very helpful person (the first and only one) informed me that the parcel was sent to JHB on the 31st, but due to the strike they do not process anything.

What am I supposed to do? The recipient would not be there to collect it, I can not stop the sending as nobody in JHB is wiling to assist!!

I paid a lot of money for speedy delivery, are EMS going to refund me?
