SA Post Office
Blatantly to

One of my Managers posted documents (TC198971005ZA) from a post office (Speed Services) in Atlantis (Reygersdal) on Monday 03rd February to a client in Middelburg & was informed that my client will receive it on Wednesday morning as my client must have them by 12h00. After this instruction we went ahead & sent them.

I contacted your call centre today & spoke to a manager (Daniel) to track the documents only to find out that they have arrived yesterday (Tuesday) already & is still sitting at OR Tambo International & that from your personnel is on strike & that they cannot inform me as to when the documents will be sent to my client.

I completely sympathize with your situation but unfortunately I, nor my staff were informed of the strike prior to sending the documents & I feel an injustice was done to my business as if I knew this was the situation I would have gone with an independent courier service no matter the cost as the business lost because of the documents is costing my business close to R100 000.00 & I am prepared to take legal action to recoup this loss as we were blatantly to by your offices by not informing us of the strike prior to sending.
