On Friday 2013/07/26 at 09:32:37 I sent an envelope containing important documents for the change in registered details of a Close Corporation from Fig Tree Post Office in Port Elizabeth, Counter to Door at an address in Helderkruin, Roodepoort. I paid the sum of R 132.58 to have this document, as informed by Sophia Cele, the lady behind the counter who assisted me, by no later than Monday morning 10h00.
Arrangements were made for somebody to be at the address to receive these documents. Needless to say they were never delivered, hence my gripe. I phoned Speed Services Couriers on Monday 2013/08/05 to find out where these documents were, as I was informed on this day that the documents were still not received. After waiting 20 minutes for my call to be answered and having been subjected to some "funeral parlour type" music during this time, my call was eventually answered, only to be told after being put on hold and waiting for another 5 minutes, that it was the Post Office's error as they never delivered the documents at the recipient's door.
In the mean time a substantial contract was lost due to these documents not being delivered on time. This "speed service".
